Tari Zarka

I am Tari Zarka. I am an artist who specializes in physical as well as metaphysical art. Like any serious artist, I am driven to create and inspire – through my artwork and my everyday life.

My most favored physical mediums as of late include flameworked glass, copper, wood and recycled materials; although, I will never veer too far from my classical roots. I will always find time to reflect on natural and spiritual wonders as I play with pastels, acrylic, watercolor and oils.

My metaphysical artistic outlet involves inspiring others to create the best possible lives for themselves. I have found that the best way to accomplish this is to lead by example. Whether I am sharing experiences with a customer at an art show, learning a new skill from a colleague, teaching a new skill to an apprentice, or streamlining my business (Aspiring Artists of the Earth), my foremost concern is spreading positivity and understanding.

I primarily work from my family's hosiery mill in Dublin, PA, where I have a fine art studio atop our landscaping shed and a glass studio in a metal shed in our parking lot. My showroom is nestled in front of the old sewing room @ 174 S. Main St., Dublin, PA.

I owe much of what I know about running a business to the hard work, ingenuity and creativity of my family. Watching them run a successful hosiery mill throughout my life taught me a lot about making savvy business decisions on the fly. I also owe a great deal of thanks to artists in the Harmonyworks group who have been very open and helpful with my flame working endeavor.

My work is a result of my focus, dedication, positivity, passion and love for life. You will know this when you see my work, you will be reassured of it when you are wearing my work and you will be affirmed of it as you receive endless compliments. Dare to live the life you love and please accept my thanks for supporting others who do as well.
